Clark Builders: Thank You!

Local business donates items to building trades program

January 16, 2026

As Danny Jones described it, Thursday (January 15, 2026) was like Christmas in January for him and his Gilbert High School building trades program, as 2010 GHS graduate Josh Clark, the President of Clark Builders here in Gilbert, and Carrie Clark stopped by with a truck full of tools and supplies to donate to the school.

“As a small home building business, we know the importance of a trades program for our students, and we feel it is important to give back to the place that gave to us,” Clark said about his company’s generous gifts to Gilbert Schools.

Among the donations, there was a DeWalt storage rack, as well as a slew of other DeWalt products, such as a circular saw kit, drill kits, a sliding compound miter saw, and a number of accessories.

Mr. Jones was ecstatic about the new items that will be put to good use by his students for years to come, and he also enjoyed a few minutes to sit and talk with the Clarks.

“The building trades program deeply appreciates the donation of tools and supplies,” Mr. Jones said. “Josh is also a member of the Ames Home Builders Association and they are huge supporters of the program at Gilbert. We couldn’t do the things we do in the building trades program at Gilbert without the help of people like Josh and the AHBA. Thank you!”

We echo Mr. Jones’ sentiments. We say thank you to everyone at Clark Builders for their generosity, and for giving back to the future of our community. As we always say, Gilbert CSD wouldn’t be what it is without the tremendous community support we receive from the people and businesses. And we will never forget it.
