And again.

And … again.

Aaaaannnnnddddd … again.

Right, Maddie Moore?

Moore, a Gilbert High School sophomore, won the Gilbert Schools Judge’s Choice Award at Wednesday’s Raccoon River Conference Art Show for her “Toast and Eggs” earrings that she created in class.

Maddie’s vision took some time. On her sixth attempt, they came out the way she wanted, and the end result earned her a blue ribbon at the art show.

The Best in Show Award went to Addison Marvin of Bondurant-Farrar for her work entitled, “Adam.” The Honorable Mention Award went to Emerson Sander of North Polk for a piece entitled, “She Thicc.”

GHS served as the host of the 2025 RRC Art Show, and high school art teachers Jen Maguire and Nathan Moore were the co-chairs of the event. It was a fantastic day for conference art students to showcase their work and get the chance to see the artistry of their peers.

The show was also opened up to the public in the afternoon.

Thank you so much to Mrs. Maguire and Mr. Moore, as well as Activities Director Ian Smith, for leading such a fun and enlightening day for not only our students, but for those from around the conference.

Congratulations to Maddie and all of our GHS art students on the great work they were able to showcase.
